Sunni Cleric Accuses Awqaf of Deliberately not Hiring Bahraini Muezzins

Bahrain Mirror: A Sunni cleric accused the Department of Sunni Endowments (Waqf) of deliberately not recruiting Bahraini Muezzins, noting that the Department of Awqaf is controlled by political societies.
Isa Saleh Al-Hassan said that the Sunni Awqaf surrendered to the demands of Bahrainis after their game was exposed as well as their exclusion of the Bahraini youth.
Al-Hassan demanded that the Waqf should not be under the recommendations of the societies and those who belong to them, wondering: "why Bahrainis who apply for the Muezzin post t is rejected, while a Bengali, who does not speak Arabic well, is accepted?
