Bahraini Authorities released Al-Wahdawi Secretary General, Hassan Al-Marzouq, who was detained at Bahrain Airport on July 31, 2018, as he was returning from Beirut.

Hasan Al Marzooq, Secretary-General of the Unitary National Democratic Assemblage (Al-Wahdawi party), posted a tweet saying “I am fine…Thanks for everyone who asked about me”. The authorities arrested Al-Mazrooq on July 31, 2018, after being remanded at Bahrain International Airport, upon returning from the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
