The Fourth High Criminal Court issued life term sentence against 5 suspects and 7-year prison term against 2 others over charge of joining Saraya Al-Ashtar.

The security authorities released on Thursday (Febraury 14, 2019) detainee Sadiq Al-Shaabani after spending 5 years in jail over what is known as "Bahrain Tamarod" case.

The First High Criminal Court rejected the appeals of a youth accused of joining "Saraya Al-Ashtar", upheld a 15-year jail term against him, fined him 100 BD and revoked his citizenship.

Chief of Terror Crime Prosecution Advocate General Ahmed Al Hammadi said that the prosecution launched its investigations in the incidence of bombing a Minister of Interior bus on February 26, 2017, and assigned experts to examine the crime scene in a way that helps the investigations.
