Bahrain Mirror, sports (exclusive): The game of the seniors has begun and the public just have to follow up on how the facts are manipulated to the lust of control and power.

Ahmed Al-Fahd President of the Olympic Council of Asia wants to get even with Qataris. Salman bin Ibrahim, head of the Bahrain Football Association likes to climb the magic carpet that can take him to the presidency of the Asian Football Confederation, and it never matters for him how the rules of the game will be!

The election Game enters an awkward zigzag and each party will try to air the dirty laundry of the other, however the most obvious factor, is the contamination of Salman bin Ibrahim’s hands with crimes against humanity, documented with television evidence. The victims are still present as witnesses to the most egregious violations that harmed the elite of sports stars and not only football players!

   

Salman bin Ibrahim himself denies charges of involvement in these violations in anticipation of getting up to the post.

Ala’a Hubail and his brother Mohammed along with goalkeeper Ali Saeed are three former international players who were abducted from their Al-Ahli Club while exercising. A group of masked men surrounded the field, blindfolded and handcuffed the three players and took them to an unknown place, in addition to those three, the national basketball team player Mohamed Hassan!!!

Can Salman bin Ibrahim refute the occurrence of such a crime? Can he deny? Was not it an explicit breach of the Olympic charters and conventions of the International Federation of Football, which forbids mixing sport and politics? Can Salman bin Ibrahim explain the crime committed by those four players except taking part in a peaceful march!?

It did not stop at that, Salman bin Ibrahim issued decrees to write off some players, besides handing over to the security authorities lists of other players whose pictures were shown on Bahrain TV and through its sports channel that took charge of detention, interrogation and torture!

We have a list of referees who have been removed from the lists of arbitration, such as Zakaria Ibrahim, Ali AlAsfoor, and Hussein Shamsan; the latter is still detained! It is the tip of the iceberg of the violations which affected the athletes!

The detention and torture of Hussein Shamsan, a premier league referee, is being covered up by the Football Association.  What would Salman bin Ibrahim respond to his involvement in those violations? 

The list of the victims in the revenge campaign against athletes is long, and it, currently,  includes more than 50 athletes who are still detained, including players enrolled on the lists of the national teams, like  Ahmed Hassan Abdul Wahab (Bahrain Youth Football player) and his colleague Jaffar Al-Asfoor,  Ridha abdul Hussain (Bahrain coast volleyball player),  Salih Mahdi (men's volleyball team player), Ali Almolani (Bahrain youth handball team player), and  Mohammed Khamis (junior football player).

The list of athletes who are still behind bars is massive, and represents the largest segment of professionals that was targeted by the regime. More than 160 athletes from various sports were interrogated and detained for different periods, like handball players, volleyball and basketball players, administrators, referees and coaches!

By opening prison gates to the athletes, he did not know that his masters would pay dearly for that stupid step, so they are now involved in how to erase what they have committed and erase its effects everywhere, and this file will remain to haunt Salman bin Ibrahim wherever he goes. His denial of his involvement in those crimes will be wasted!

The Question is: What if Qatar demanded via its candidate Hassan Al- Thawadi to form  a fact-finding committee of the International Federation of Football to identify the facts of the involvement of the Football Association and its presidential  candidate of the Asian Football Confederation in crimes against humanity, which affected the athletes and football players, especially Ala’a and Mohamed Hubail?!

There is no doubt that the result will be shocking for all. A candidate for the presidency of the Federation of Asian football; Salman bin Ibrahim; deeply involved in crimes against humanity... Just think of such a possibility!
