Bahrain Mirror: Al-Wefaq Secretary-General, detained Sheikh Ali Salman, thanked those who have shown solidarity with him on the 9^th anniversary of his arrest, which falls on September 29, 2023.

Sheikh Ali Salman said in a letter from Jaw Central Prison: "I kiss their hands (of those who have shown solidarity with him) and foreheads. I ask God for their safety; for our country's progress, security, and peace, for the good of all its citizens and their future."

"A person must make sure his deeds are for the sake of God and seek his satisfaction. I hold no hatred or blame on anyone in [my heart]. Thanks to everyone. I completely submit, and I am satisfied with the tribulation Allah has destined for me, as long as it is in his eyes (Glory be to Him)."

Sheikh Ali Salman added "I supplicate and plea to Allah (Glory be to Him) to grant victory to our mujahideen brothers in Gaza, recovery to the wounded, and mercy to the martyrs."
