Normalization between Storming Al-Shifa Hospital and Al-Salmaniya Medical Complex

Bahrain Mirror (Exclusive): On Wednesday, November 15, 2023, Bahrainis were perhaps among the people most affected by the Israeli military's storming of the Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, since they experienced a similar pain in 2011 when the Bahraini authorities announced that Al-Salmaniya Medical Complex was allegedly occupied by peaceful protesters and contained armories.
The Bahraini army arrested and even tortured injured protesters, and arrested large numbers of nurses and doctors, accusing them of terrorism and of worsening the wounds of the injured to tarnish the image of authorities in front of the world.
Now, 12 years later, the Israeli occupation forces, supported by a open green light from the United States, are back to storm a hospital after the Pentagon claimed that it contains a headquarters of Hamas and Islamic Jihad.
Despite the failure of the Israeli militay campaign, this failure did not stop the American push in support of this crime, as President Joe Biden came out to declare that Hamas committed a war crime by making the hospital its military headquarters. It is an absurd claim that has not been proven so far, while Biden is once again losing credibility as the president of the most powerful country in the world, a president with the rank of a parrot who echoes the Israeli false narratives that the world has come to ridicule.
The occupation quickly learned from its normalizers, also benefiting from their experience in crimes, and the victim was the Palestinian people.
By defending the storming of Al-Shifa Hospital, the president of one of the most powerful countries in the world descended to the level of the most despicable justice minister in the smallest country in the world, former minister Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, who held a press conference in 2011 to talk about what he called the "doctors' crimes" at Al-Salmaniya Hospital and announced the start of the trial of about 47 doctors and paramedics and the indictment of 13 charges against them.
The former justice minister has become a joke forever recorded in the country's history. So what will become of this president, who has exhibited a lack of credibility and lack of humanity, and has registered his name as one of the most prominent participants in the largest genocide the world is now witnessing.
On July 14, 2019, Al Jazeera aired "Players with Fire" film, presented by Palestinian journalist Tamer Al-Mishal as part of a series of episodes of his program "What is hidden is greater". It included an exclusive testimony of a Bahraini officer, Lieutenant Colonel Yasser Al-Jalahma, commander of the battalion that was entrusted with the responsibility of evacuating Pearl Roundabout, on March 16, 2011. In his testimony, he confirmed that the protesters were not carrying weapons, and said that he personally witnessed security officers fabricating some weapons and filming them to show that the protesters were armed.
