Bahrain Mirror: Two Arab diplomats revealed an Arab disagreement over the issuance of a unified statement from a separate Arab summit that would have carried very strong measures against the Israeli occupation entity, which led to the merging of the Arab and Islamic summits held in Riyadh, on Saturday, November 11, 2023.
The two Arab diplomats said that "at least 3 Arab countries, including the UAE and Bahrain, rejected a draft resolution submitted by more than 10 Arab countries that includes: threatening to cut off oil supplies to Israel and its allies, severing diplomatic relations with Israel, and preventing the passage of Israeli aircraft through their air."
In the same context, Bahrain, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Morocco rejected the proposal of one of the Arab countries participating in the joint Arab-Islamic summit in Riyadh, on Saturday, consisting of 5 items, which would have put great pressure on the occupation entity if it was included in the final statement of the summit.
The five items are: preventing the use of US military bases to supply the occupying entity with ammunition, freezing diplomatic and economic relations, threatening to use oil against it, preventing Israeli civil aviation in Arab airspace, in addition to forming an Arab ministerial committee to stop the aggression.
