Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini Society Against Normalization with Zionist Enemy launched a petition addressed to Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly calling on his government to "condemn the Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the occupied territories, and to open the Rafah crossing with the Gaza Strip immediately and permanently to allow the passage of all aids and transferal of wounded Palestinians for treatment."
The petition stressed that "the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip are subjected to a war of genocide and ethnic cleansing," urging the Egyptian government to "stand on the right side of history, by condemning the Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the occupied territories."
It demanded "allowing the movement of Palestinians to and from Gaza, and the resumption of the continued movement of exports of goods and merchandise to the Strip, which has been suffering from a suffocating siege for 17 years."
It addressed the Egyptian government by saying: "The continuation of the war of genocide, the deliberate killing of children and women and the policy of starvation practiced by the occupation forces require you to act a quick and courageous humanitarian stance in line with international law, which requires the protection of civilians and not to expose them to the danger they face due to the Zionist aggression in the continuous killings against them and work to displace them from their homes to Sinai and empty the Gaza Strip of its inhabitants."
The petition urged the government to "reject Zionist and American pressure that demand it to continue closing the Rafah crossing, which will lead to more deaths of the people of Gaza."
