Bahrain Mirror: Al-Dana theater in Manama announced, via its Instagram account, that the concert of the Maroon 5 band, which supports the Israeli occupation, anf which was scheduled to be held on Monday, November 13, 2023, was postponed to 2024 due to "circumstances beyond control."
The postponement of the concert came after widespread popular demands and a petition launched by the "Bahraini Society Against Normalization with Zionist Enemy" calling on Bahrainis to prevent Maroon 5 band from holding the concert, and recalling what happened in Jordan, where a concert by the band was canceled after popular pressure against normalization.
The US-based band has previously performed in the occupied Palestinian territories, one of which was held over the Palestinian Al-Jarisha village, which was ethnically cleansed during the 1948 Nakba.
Lead singer Adam Levine was seen visiting the Buraq Wall, also known as the Western Wall, in occupied east Jerusalem.
