Bahrain Society for Human Rights Calls on King of Bahrain Pardon Death Row Convicts

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahrain Society for Human Rights has called on Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to accept the Kingdom's accession to the Second Optional Protocol to the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights aiming at the abolition of the death penalty.
Marking the International Day against the Death Penalty, the Society called on the King of Bahrain to "issue a special pardon for all death sentences that have not yet been executed, or replace them with other alternative punishments."
