Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain has suddenly postponed a visit by a delegation from the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, which was scheduled for the next few days.
Bahrain did not inform the delegation of the reasons for the postponement of its visit or even when the next visit will be.
The delegation was scheduled to visit prisons and consider the conditions of political detainees who began a hunger strike on August 7, 2023 and temporarily suspended it until September 30, to see if the changes promised by the Government of Bahrain in Jaw Prison will be made.
