Jaw Prison Director Orders Handcuffing Detainees on Hunger Strike from Behind While Transferring them to Infirmary

Bahrain Mirror: The director of Jaw Central Prison, Hisham Al-Zayani, ordered police at the prison to handcuff detainees on hunger strike from behind while transferring them to the infirmary, according to the director of the Bahrain Institute for Rights and Democracy (BIRD), Ahmed Al-Wadaei.
Al-Wadaei said via post on "X" platform that "the detainees wait for about 5 hours to be transferred to the infirmary," and listed the names of a number of detainees whose sugar levels range from 1.7 to 3.8, whose treatment was delayed for about 5 hours.
