Activists in Diaspora Go on Hunger Strike on Tuesday in Solidarity with Prisoners

Bahrain Mirror: Bahraini activists in diaspora announced that they go on a hunger strike on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, "in solidarity, support and advocacy for the oppressed political prisoners on hunger strike in Bahrain's prisons."
The activists urged friends and supporters of the cause of the people of Bahrain in all countries to "join them in the strike, and declare solidarity, support and advocacy for the prisoners on hunger strike in Bahrain's prisons to achieve their demands, and release them unconditionally."
They stressed the importance of "carrying out the hunger strike through a mass sit-in in front of Bahrain's embassies in various countries," and called for "video media coverage of the strikers' gatherings, to emphasize the message of solidarity, support and advocacy, and to spread it widely."
They also stressed the need to "communicate with various media outlets to speak about the demands of the hunger-striking prisoners, emphasize the importance of absent political rights in Bahrain, change the profile picture on social media outlets to the hunger strikers' slogan "We have a right," post photos and news about the hunger strike, and also use We_Have_Right and Release_Bahrain's_Prisonsers hashtags in all the tweets and writings in solidarity with them."
