Bahrain Mirror: The organizing committee for Imam Hussein blood donation campaign announced allocating the first day of the campaign in its 25th year to women, which falls on 8th day of Muharram 1445 Hijri, Thursday, July 27, 2023 between 4 and 9 pm at "Tamkeen Naim Youths Center".
The campaign said in a statement that the second day of the campaign will be on the 9th of Muharram between 1 and 10 pm at the same place.
It also announced the opening registration for blood donation on Wednesday through its website.
The committee has recently launched its campaign for its 25th year under "Al-Hussein is a forever-lit candle" slogan, organized by the Al-Naim Charitable Organization and in cooperation with the Health Ministry, represented by the Central Blood Bank. The committee adopted "Al-Hussein is a forever-lit candle" slogan for its campaign this year, which is the same slogan it used in its first year, marking the quarter of a century since its foundation and work.
The Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Fadel Al-Nashit, stressed that "the donations go to help all patients in need without discrimination," noting that "the campaign has so far provided the Central Blood Bank with 15466 blood units."
