Bahrain Mirror: The Friday preacher at the Imam Al-Sadiq Mosque in Diraz, west of the capital Manama, Sheikh Ali Al-Sadadi, stressed that "Ashura season has pride of place, high significance and great value," calling on Bahrainis to strive for "diligence in commemorating this season and active engagement in all squares."
Sheikh Al-Sadadi explained in his Friday sermon on July 14, 2023, that "among the Ashura season spaces are congregational mourning halls (Majlis Aza'), processions, and such, which are doors of faith, institutes of thought, beacons of awareness, and landmarks of guidance, places of mercy, stations of reform, tables of goodness, and resources of purification."
He called on Bahrainis to "be diligent in commemorating this generous season with our talents, energies, capabilities and tools." He also urged everyone to contribute in this season and leave their clear marks.
He called for "crowding the mourning gatherings (Majlis Aza'), and amplifying the processions," adding that people should be actively present in every square, rather than attending only one space.
