Detainee Ali Ahmad Aman Released after 10 Years in Prison

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini authorities released on Monday (July 10, 2023) detainee Ali Ahmad Aman after detaining him for 9 years and 9 months.
The authorities arrested Aman, from Karana village, on September 27, 2013, and sentenced him to 15 years in prison and revoked his citizenship. However, they reduced his sentence to 10 years in prison later.
Aman's sudden release came under the "Alternative Penalty" law after he had only 3 months left of his sentence.
