Life of Detainee Habib Al-Fardan in Danger, Has Brain Tumor, Prevented from Treatment

Bahrain Mirror: The health condition of detainee Habib Ali Habib Jassim Al-Fardan, 37, deteriorated due to an enlarged tumor in his brain caused by the deprivation of Jaw Prison administration of completing his treatment.
The Bahrain Prisoners' Affairs Authority said that authorities arrested Al-Fardan on May 12, 2023, three months after his return from Germany, where he went to undergo a very dangerous operation, and issued sentences against him in several cases reaching up to 75 years in prison.
The authority added that the prison administration rejected the demands of Al-Fardan's family to temporarily release their son to continue his treatment or allow his treatment while in detention, noting that the prison administration cut off his news from his family.
Human rights activist Ibtisam Al-Saegh confirmed in a tweet on that Al-Fardan's life is in danger, calling on the authorities to release him immediately.
