Authorities Arrest Citizens, Some of Whom Participated in Martyr Mohammad Yaackoub's Funeral, Order Detention of Two for Week

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's security apparatuses arbitrarily arrested a number of citizens within three days. The Public Prosecution ordered the detention of two of them for a week.
The security apparatuses summoned youths from the town of A'ali, on Friday, July 7, 2023, a day after they participated in the funeral procession of former detainee of conscience Mohammad Abdullah Hasan Yaackoub, who passed away a result of the medical negligence policy in the Jaw Central Prison. The youths were presented to the "Public Prosecution".
On the same day, the security apparatuses arrested Mounir Mushaima, brother of martyr Sami Mushaima from Sanabis and Mohammad Abbas Mohammad from A'ali, after summoning them for interrogation at the police station, and they will appear on Saturday, July 9, 2023 before the Public Prosecution.
The authorities arrested Hussein Mounir and Yousef Nabil from Sanabis on Thursday, July 6, 2023, and ordered their detention for 7 days pending investigation, according to the Bahrain Prisoners' Affairs Authority.
On Wednesday, July 5, 2023, the security apparatuses arrested Hussein Hani Abdulhassan from Karbabad, at the border crossing of the "King Fahd Causeway", while he was returning from his visit to Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) in Iraq.
