Bahrain Mirror: The head of the monitoring department at Salam for Democracy and Human Rights, Ibtisam Al-Saegh, confirmed that the Jaw prison administration decided that detainee Mohammad Hasan Al-Raml "Al-Najjar" will be the next victim of medical negligence.
Al-Saegh stressed in an Instagram post that the prison administration is putting Al-Raml's life to danger, noting that his family is launching a distress call to save his life before it is too late.
Al-Saegh confirmed that the prison administration can take Al-Raml to the prison clinic due to the lack of blood sugar resulting from the hunger strike, noting that he is in his sixties, however, it is procrastinating in enabling him to receive treatment, which is the reason he repeatedly goes on hunger strike.
The authorities arrested Al-Raml on November 3, 2015, and a court sentenced him to life in prison within a trial of a group of 115 detainees, known as the Zulfiqar Brigades.
Since 2022, Al-Raml has been suffering from not being given the necessary medications, especially for his stomach ulcers, and he faints as a result of his continuous hunger strike against not meeting his demands to receive treatment.
