Bahrain Mirror: Saudi Arabia executed a detained dissident from Al-Qatif on Monday, June 19, 2023.
The Saudi Interior Ministry announced in a statement that it had executed youth Muslim Al-Milad and mentioned a series of loose accusations to justify its crime.
The ministry claimed that the martyr "joined a terrorist cell" and that he "carried out several attacks on security personnel and financed terrorism and terrorist acts", without publishing evidence of these accusations.
With the execution of Al-Milad, the number of martyrs from Qatif recently executed by Saudi Arabia rose to 11, in addition to the two detained Bahrainis Jaafar Sultan and Sadiq Thamer, who were executed on Monday, May 29, 2023 over fabricated charges of "terrorism", after they were arrested for 8 years during which they were subjected to torture and ill-treatment and were deprived of their human rights.
