Bahrain Mirror: Sayed Abdullah Al-Ghuraifi stressed that “it is unacceptable that official state controls complicate the work of funds, charities and competent agencies.”

Sayed Al-Ghuraifi said during his weekly Friday sermon delivered at the Imam Sadiq Mosque in Al-Gufoul on June 15, 2023 that “facilitations are a necessity to activate the work of charities and funds,” noting that “there are competent administrations and there is interaction from the people,” demanding that "official controls not turn into disruptions and complications.”

He further stated “Allowing charity work institutions to become active is in the interest of this country, as this create a good, bright and civilized atmosphere,” adding that: “Control is required as long as it pushes them forward rather than restrict and burden them with discouraging measures.”

He called on the authorities to “take into consideration some of the complaints and problems of people and those in charge of such projects, perhaps this will lead to changes in some official procedures". He also urged "addressing them wisely in a way that serves the goals of charitable work far from complexities and disruptions.”
