Detainee Hussein Mhanna Accused of "Insulting Policeman" He Has Never Seen

Bahrain Mirror: The Public Prosecution referred detainee Hussein Mhanna to trial in a new case in which it accused him of "insulting and beating a policeman" whom he has never seen.
The detainee's father confirmed that his son was brought before the court on Monday, June 6, 2023, which charged him with "insulting and assaulting a security officer," stressing that "his son denied the charges brought against him, and stressed that he had never seen the policeman before."
He confirmed that the court set the session to issue the verdict against his son on July 13, 2023, after inquiring about him at the Ministry of Justice.
It is worth mentioning that detainee Hussein Mhanna is sentenced in several cases to prison terms reaching 38 years, and has been in isolation in "Jaw Central Prison" along with 15 other detainees since August 10, 2022, where they are subjected to continuous violations.
