Abdulwahab Hussein: We are the Ones who Have the Rights to Say "Clock will not Turn Back"

Bahrain Mirror: The spokesman of "Al-Wafaa Islamic Party", prisoner of conscience Abdulwahab Hussein, stressed that "the justifications given for the arrest of Sheikh Mohammad Sanqour say: all scholars and intellectuals should be in prison, otherwise there is no dignity or value for thought and knowledge."
Hussein said, in a statement from the "Jaw Central Prison": "We are the ones who have the right to say that the clock will not turn back."
The authorities arrested Sheikh Sanqour after summoning him to the Criminal Investigation Directorate" and referred him to the "Public Prosecution" on Monday, May 22, 2023, over a Friday sermon he delivered at the Imam Al-Sadiq Mosque in Diraz on May 19, 2023.
The General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science claimed that Sanqour was summoned for repeating inciting, and claimed, in a statement, that "Bahrain is a state of law and institutions" and that "the clock cannot turn back".
Sheikh Sanqour had said, in his Friday sermon, that "if the change in the educational curricula of everything that harms the Zionists and the Zionist entity were to proceed at the pace at which it began, it would have been a serious threat to the identity of this country, its religion, values and pillars."
