Bahrain Mirror: Ibrahim Sarhan, legal adviser at Salam for Democracy and Human Rights, confirmed that "Bahrain is not cooperating with the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights although it has been 40 days since it agreed to appoint a permanent resident human rights coordinator in Manama."
Sarhan confirmed via a tweet that "Bahrain officially announced, on March 24, 2023, its approval to appoint a permanent resident human rights coordinator during the approval of the final report of the periodic review by the Human Rights Council and its acceptance of 172 UN recommendations," wandering "why Bahrain is not cooperating with the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights and not implementing this decision after more than 40 days (of approval)?"
