Bahrain: Citizen Arrested from Juffair

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini security authorities arbitrarily arrested on Wednesday (April 20, 2022) a citizen from Juffair over political motives.
Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society confirmed the arrest of Jassim Mohammed Isa, who was taken to an unknown destination. The society fears that he would be subjected to torture to extract confessions from him.
The authorities have been continuously carrying out illegal raid campaigns since 2011 which lead to the arrest of dozens of citizens who are forced to say confessions under duress that incriminate them later.
