Fingerprint Scanning System Suspended for Two Weeks

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Civil Service Bureau yesterday ordered government departments to suspend the fingerprint scanning system used to track staff attendance for two weeks as a precautionary measure.
The human resources directorate shall provide an attendance register for employees to sign in manually to monitor working hours or activate the swipe card attendance system, if possible, CSB said.
According to the directives, government agencies and employees must comply with the directives issued by the Ministry of Health to safeguard public health and protect all employees and individuals in different workplaces from the risk COVID-19 virus spreading, which requires concerted action.
