Court Abolishes Citizenship Revocation Sentence, Upholds 10-Year Jail Term against 2 Defendants over Assembling in Al-Ekr

Bahrain Mirror: The First High Criminal Court upheld a 10-year jail term against two defendants who took part, along with others, in an assembly in Al-Ekr and abolished citizenship revocation sentence against them.
The authorities say that all the defendants (including the appellants) assembled in Al-Ekr, attacked a civilian patrol affiliated with the Interior Ministry using rocks and wooden planks and then fled away.
