Court Upholds One-Year Prison Term against Defendant Accused of Insulting Policemen in Dry Dock Prison

Bahrain Mirror: The High Criminal Appeals court upheld a one-year prison verdict issued against defendant accused of insulting two policemen in the Dry Dock Prison and attacking one of them.
The authorities claim that the defendant seized the opportunity of presenting him to the medical clinic in the reform and rehabilitation center and attacked the victim who confronted him. The victim received an injury in his right hand finger. The defendant also screamed at the two policemen and insulted them. They, however, controlled the situation.
