Bahrain Mirror: The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu cited statements for the Bahraini Minister of Foreign Affairs Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa at the start of the weekly Cabinet meeting.
Netanyahu said in a video published by his Arabic-language spokesman Ofir Gendelman "Israel is a country of the Middle East. Israel is part of the heritage of this whole region".
The Israeli Prime Minister quoted Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, who said "the Jewish People have a place amongst us. The Israeli public needs to trust that there are countries in the region that do want to have peace and do encourage the Palestinians to do it."
In a separate context, Gendelman raised a controversy on Twitter after he published a photo in which he said it is a Hebrew greeting from Kaaba, which is considered a symbol from Muslims.
Netanyahu spokesman said that the message included a Hebrew greeting saying "Happy Saturday". Meanwhile, some tweeters said that the photo is fabricated.
