Court Upholds 10-Year Jail Term against Defendant Accused of Causing Blast in Ma'ameer in 2015

Bahrain Mirror: The High Appeals Criminal Court rejected the objection appeals presented by a defendant accused, along with 5 others, of causing a blast in Ma'ameer in 2015, and upheld the 10-year jail term issued by the first-instance court.
The authorities claim that the defendant and others caused a blast in Ma'ameer, on June 16, 2015, took part in an assembly and acquired Molotov.
The first instance court sentenced the defendants from the first till the fifth to 10 years in jail and sentenced the sixth to 7 years in jail.
