US-Arab Preparatory Meeting with Qatar's Participation to Launch "Arab NATO" Alliance

Bahrain Mirror: Saudi Arabia unveiled on Monday hosting an Arab-American meeting which Qatar took part in, in preparation for the launch of the Middle East Strategic Alliance, known as the "Arab NATO".
The meeting was held "with a high-level participation from Saudi Arabia, the United States of America, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman, Qatar and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan," the SPA said.
It explained that the meeting was "an important step within the steps of launching this alliance, which aims at enhancing security and stability in the region and the world."
The alliance is one of the outcomes of the Arab Islamic American Summit hosted by Riyadh in May 2017.
