3 Unions Announce their Withdrawal from Free Union, Information about Withdrawal of More Unions

Bahrain Mirror: The National Union of Bahrain Airport Service workers (BAS) announced its withdrawal just before the Bahrain Free Labour Union Federation did, thus, becoming the third union to withdrawal three days before the general conference of the union to elect a new administration.
Al-Bilad local said it has sources confirming that the number of unions that will withdraw from the union membership is more than five.
A member of BAS board of directors of Ammar Al-Janahi confirmed "that the board of directors took the decision to withdraw by majority of the union's board of directors votes, and that it will open a new page in the professional trade union work. This decision came after all necessary consultations with the concerned authorities, and the extent of its decisive influence on the future of the union and interest of its members." He also affirmed that the union's board of directors took this decision with satisfaction.
Another union withdrew in addition to the BAS trade union, Bahrain Airport Company Labor Union, and Bafco union.
