Bahrain Mirror: The probing committee into the case of Hamad Town Intermediate Girls School barred ministers and ministries from giving statements on the case that blew up due to the involvement of a ruling family member and an officer.

Sharifa Siwar, holds a PhD in Psychotherapy, disclosed the case when she spoke of a network that promotes narcotic pills and abuses students sexually.

The committee whose formation was ordered by the PM held its first meeting under the chairmanship of deputy premier Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa to start a probe into the case.

At the beginning of the meeting, the deputy premier mentioned the PM's order not to report about the incident, until the committee concludes its work, according to an official statement.

The statement added "The Deputy Prime Minister then reviewed the work of the Committee to clarify all the issues surrounding the incident in order to prevent its recurrence, and heard an explanation from the concerned authorities about the measures taken in this regard in the administrative, educational, security and health areas," the statement added.

Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa instructed the member ministers in their respective fields to report on the procedures that serve the conduct of the investigation into the incident.
