Bahrain Mirror: Labor Minister Jameel Humaidan said that job seekers who are already registered in the ministry's lists will be enrolled in the government's new employment program automatically, stressing that they should review the ministry according to the deadlines set for the review.
The increase in the amount of unemployment benefits and duration, on which the government issued a decision yesterday, is likely to be applied to the list of unemployed persons registered in the ministry's lists, who are currently benefiting from it.
Humaidan hoped that the official and civil efforts contribute to the success of the program launched by the government which is called the National Employment Program, and said that this program complements the employment initiatives and projects implemented by the ministry.
Humaidan called on job seekers who are not registered in the Ministry's lists to register in the program, and take advantage of the unemployment insurance benefits, as well as the training and job opportunities available at the ministry's vacancy bank.
On Tuesday, February 26, 2019, the Minister toured the Ministry's employment services office to learn about the procedures for registering job seekers and the facilities offered to them. He said the tour also came to meet the reviewers and listen to their comments on the employment and rehabilitation services in the ministry.
The Ministry of Labour stated that the attachments required for registration of job seekers are a clear copy of the smart card from both sides with the original card, a single photograph, the original qualification and certificates and a copy of them, with the importance of attaching an equivalent statement certified by the Ministry of Education if the certificate is issued from a private university or from a one outside Bahrain, as well as a copy of the driver's license, if any, a copy of the certificates of training courses and experiences, if any, a CV written in English language, taking into account putting a recent personal picture in the CV, as well as attaching a proof of the bank account number and IBAN number, and a copy of the medical reports in case of health or chronic problems.
