Bahrain Mirror: The fourth high criminal court in Bahrain sentenced seven defendants to life imprisonment, two defendants to 10 years imprisonment, another to 5 years in prison, and the eleventh defendant to 3 years imprisonment. The court also fined the seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth and eleventh defendants 500 dinars and the seventh, eighth, tenth and twelfth defendants 100 dinars, ordering the revocation of all the defendants' nationalities but the twelfth.

The authorities claim that the defendants formed a "terrorist group" and received training in Iraqi Hezbollah camps.

The authorities based the grounds of the charges on the defendants' confessions. Confessions; however, are extracted under duress and torture, according to international human rights groups.
