Despite its High Investment, Bahrain at Back of Gulf Investors of US Bonds List

Bahrain Mirror: Although Bahrain's investment in US bonds rose by 1.98% in September on a monthly basis, it has been on the back of list of Gulf investments in bonds, following Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait and Qatar.
According to US Treasury data, Bahrain's investments in US bonds amounted to $924 million, compared to $906 million in August.
The UAE ranked 22nd on the list of investors of US Treasury bonds, with China topping the list at $1151.4 billion, followed by Japan with $1028 trillion.
