Bahrain: First “Complete” Veterinary Hospital to be Established at Cost of 2.5 Million Dinars

Bahrain Mirror: Khalifa bin Isa Al Khalifa, Agriculture and Marine Resources Minister Undersecretary, said that an initial license was issued by the Veterinary Control Department to construct the first complete veterinary hospital in Bahrain on a plot of 5,000 square meters.
The cost of the hospital will reach about 2.5 million dinars, he added, noting that the start of construction will be within the next few months after all the required procedures and licenses are met. The project is expected to be completed by the end of next year.
He explained that the hospital will be equipped with the latest technologies and systems adopted worldwide, and will cover the treatment and protection of all types of animals and birds in Bahrain. There will be special sections for camels and horses as well as wild and domestic animals, and will provide all veterinary treatment services according to the latest international treatment methods and the latest methods of management adopted internationally.
