Bahrain Mirror: The High Court of Appeal rejected a Bahraini's objection, who was convicted of burning the car of an MP in the Ma'ameer area along with three others. He was sentenced to 10 years' imprisonment. The Court ruled that the objection was not valid since he did not appear before the court.

The Public Prosecutor's Office accused four Bahrainis (two of whom were in custody) of burning the car of MP Muhammad Milad in Ma'ameer on May 15, 2015.

The Prosecution accused the defendant and the others of setting fire to movable property owned by Mohamed Milad, for a terrorist purpose. The court sentenced the four defendants to 10 years' imprisonment, so they appealed the verdict. The Court upheld a first degree sentence, so the defendant challenge the verdict with objection, but he did not appear before the court, which ruled that the appellate's objection was not valid.
