Bahrain Mirror: The General Directorate of Civil Defense managed to contain a fire that broke out Friday evening in iron wastes in the scrap yard behind Bahrain Aluminium (Alba). The fire was extinguished and the cooling operation commenced immediately to prevent the spreading of the flames.

A statement issued by the civil defense said that contained the fire with 11 vehicles and 40 officers and individuals from the civil defense, stating that it received a fire report at 10:30 pm, so the Civil Defense teams headed to the site, which they reached in 7 minutes following the report and then commenced operations to put out the fire and prevent spreading.

The General Director said that no casualties were registered, highlighting that investigation would continue to identify the causes behind the fire.
