Bahraini Businessman Dies in Prison of a Heart Attack

Bahrain Mirror: A Bahraini businessman (A. A. J.) dies at 59 in Prison after suffering from a heart attack while engaging in physical exercise.
The deceased, a prominent businessman, was arrested over financial claims after the failure of real estate projects he was running, including the Marina West real estate project, west of Manama.
The $750 million project is considered the largest stalled real estate project in the Kingdom of Bahrain. It includes 10 residential towers with more than 1,000 apartments, as well as a five-star hotel on the 11th floor.
The architect designed many real estate projects, most notably the Bahrain financial harbor, which was opened in 2007, in addition to designing the Government house at Al-Qudaibiya Palace, the Aviation Control Tower at Bahrain International Airport, and the Insurance and A'ali compounds.
