Bahrain Mirror: Bahraini Housing Minister Bassem Al-Hamr said the ministry had drawn up a plan to raise the age of the beneficiaries of social housing.
"The Housing Ministry is considering raising the age limit, especially since the product achieves [good] outcomes," he said. "So we are trying to make everyone benefit from this product."
He highlighted that the Ministry is studying new initiatives which will see a final decision and will be announced after March.
Housing demands have accumulated reaching to more than 50,000 requests due to low housing budgets and poor supply of land plots after the ruling family took control of most of the country's lands.
