Bahrain Mirror: A Bahraini Appeals Court upheld sentences against 10 out of 19 defendants in "Al-Basta Group" case.
The court upheld life sentence against 4 suspects, 15-year jail term against 5 appellants and 10-year jail term against another one. It also upheld rulings revoking the citizenships of nine defendants.
The authorities accused activists and journalists of forming a terrorist cell through WhatsApp, called "Al-Basta Group".
Amnesty International condemn the trials in Bahrain and dub them "unjust". Meanwhile, Human Rights Watch say that the Bahraini regime use the trials as a punishment tool.
