Education Quality: 20 Out of 211 Public Schools Ranked as “Inadequate”

Bahrain Mirror: Head of the Quality of Education and Training Commission, Jawahar Al-Mudhaki told the local Al-Bilad newspaper that, "after reviewing the reports of the second and third sessions, it was found that 20 public schools received an "inadequate" rating. In three sessions, six schools maintained an "inadequate" rating, and the percentage of these schools is not considerable compared to the total number of schools in Bahrain (12% i.e. out of 211 schools). She further noted that there is accountability but no penalties or development of schools under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education.
On an unrelated note, Al-Mudhaki pointed out that the accreditation that the University of Bahrain received from known parties has so far have took place properly.
