Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Health Ministry urged not to politicize the issue of treating the spiritual leader of Shiite majority Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim.

It said in a statement on Monday (December 4, 2017) that Sheikh Isa Qassim "was admitted to Bahrain International Hospital to complete medical check-ups."

The ministry urged in its brief statement "not to politicize Sheikh Isa Qassim's health condition or exploit it for personal interest and to respect his privacy."
