Top British Military Official Visits Bahrain, Meets with Crown Prince, Interior Minister and Commander-in-Chief

Bahrain Mirror: A high-ranking British military official visiting Bahrain met with a number of Bahraini officials, namely Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad, Interior Minister Rashid Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief Khalifa bin Hamad and National Guard Director of Staff Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa.
The Bahrain News Agency (BNA) published photos of Lieutenant-General Tom Beckett, the outgoing Defence Senior Advisor Middle East at the UK Ministry of Defence, who was accompanied by newly-appointed Defence Senior Advisor Middle East, Lieutenant-General John Lorimer.
BNA did not mention the nature of the topics tackled at these meetings, only stating that they discussed "developments on the regional and international arenas and topics of common interest."
