Bahrain Mirror: Director of the Bahrain Institute for Rights and Democracy (Bird) Sayed Ahmed Al-Wadaei said that the political detainees in Bahrain decided to break their hunger strike after negotiating better prison conditions with administration of Isa Town Women's Prison.

In tweets he published on his twitter account, Al-Wadaei said "freedom for prisoners of conscience in Bahrain...No right is lost if there's someone demanding it."

Seven detainees in Isa Town Women's Prison launched an open hunger strike starting October 4.

The detainees said that they started their hunger strike in protest against several reasons including the glass barriers that prevents contact with their families during visits as well as maltreatment.
