Head of Bahrain Hajj Mission: Unauthorized Hajj Campaigns to be Referred to Prosecution
2017-09-08 - 8:37 م
Bahrain Mirror: Head of the Bahrain Hajj Mission, Adnan al-Qattan, said that unauthorized and sham campaigns that took pilgrims to Hajj without permits will face strict measures, as they will be referred to the public prosecution for causing harm to the pilgrims, stealing their money and not providing them with housing and tents during Hajj.
Al-Qattan stressed that illegal Hajj campaigns will either receive a warning, be suspended or referred to the prosecution's office. He further called on the pilgrims to not register with unauthorized campaigns "so as not to be harmed, especially since most of them are pilgrims who have performed multiple pilgrimages, and could instead grant their money to those who cannot afford to go to Hajj."
