Bahrain Mirror: King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has lauded what he named "tremendous efforts and good endeavors" of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud "that resulted in cancelling the restrictions imposed by the Israeli Occupation Forces on entry to Al-Aqsa Mosque".
Israel had put electronic gates around Al-Aqsa Mosque, which was rejected by the Palestinian worshipers.
The Israeli measures led to tensions around the mosque that lasted for 2 weeks.
Media outlets said that the Saudi monarch contacted the US administration to convince Israel to reverse these measures.
