Bahrain Mirror: No information has been given on Mohammed Hassan Sultan, son of senior Al-Wefaq official, Sheikh Hassan Sultan, since he headed to the National Security Agency in Muharraq, after he was summoned for a second time in less than 48 hours, activists said on social media.
Sultan was summoned yesterday to the National Security Agency, where he was tortured by officer Mohammed Hazeem and banned from leaving the country.
The security agency has summoned a number of activists who have revealed to Mirror Bahrain details about the torture and sexual harassment they were subjected to in order to stop their activities and work for the security services.
Bahrain TV aired this week what it claimed to be calls between Sheikh Hassan Sultan and a Qatari official during the 2011 protests, plotting to overthrow the regime, while the parliament and state media called for punishing those whose names were mentioned in the phonecalls.
