7 Defendants Receive 3-Year Jail Term over Assembling in Jidhafs

Bahrain Mirror: The Fourth High Criminal Court presided over by judge Ali Khalifa Al-Dhahrani and memberships of judges Ousama Al-Shathili and Wael Ibrahim and Ahmad Al-Suleiman as a secretariat sentenced 7 suspects to 3 years in prison over assembling, pouring oils and setting fire in Al-Sahla street in Jidhafs.
The authorities say that the suspects, along with other unknowns, assembled in Al-Sahla Street in Jidhafs on 12/9/2016 on the morning. The suspects had a number of tires and oils. They poured oil on the street, put a number of tires and burnt them.
The public prosecution accused the suspects of deliberately setting fire, along with other unknowns, to the movables that would put people's lives and money to risk and taking part, along with other unknowns, in an assembly of more than 5 persons in a public place, aiming at disrupting public peace, noting that they used violence to achieve the aim they gathered for. The prosecution also accused the suspects of deliberately putting private transportation means to danger.
